About Us
Ron Israel has over 20 years experience working with alcoholics and drug
addicts in recovery.  He holds state, national and international
certifications for counseling individuals with alcohol and drug addiction
disorders.  He graduated from Orange Coast College and holds a Bachelors
Degree in Human Services from CSUF.  He has a Masters Degree in
Management with a core of concentration in Health Administration.  Mr.
Israel served as the Director of Addiction Services for Charter Behavioral
Health Systems in Mission Viejo, a free standing psychiatric hospital for
8 years.  He is well versed in the treatment of dual diagnosis.  He helped
to develop the SOS Program with the Santa Ana City Jail.  Ron has
worked with Able to Change Recovery for 5 1/2 years in a counseling
capacity as well as consulting and program development.

Mr. Israel is currently in private practice in Dana Point California.  He is
the owner of Hawk Counseling and Consulting with the primary focus on
alcohol and drug abuse counseling as well as working as a consultant,
speaker and educator.  He is the former Regional Director of the
California Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors
(CAADAC).  He is a member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma and a
native Californian.  Ron has four children, three grandchildren and resides
with his wife Brenda and their Doberman Jax in Rancho Santa Margarita
CA
.

Billy has been counseling recovering alcoholics and addicts since 1998.  
He is a member of the California Association for Alcohol and Drug
Educators graduated from Saddleback College in 1999 with a Certificate
in Alcohol and Drug Studies and then state certified by CAADE in 2000.  
He has worked as a counselor in the Dual diagnosis and Intensive
Outpatient treatment programs of College, Charter and St. Joseph
hospitals.  His employment experience includes residential treatment
programs, court ordered multiple DUI offender programs, psychiatric
units and sub-acute detoxification inpatient treatment units.  Billy is an
educator and passionate about community awareness.  He speaks at Cal.
State Fullerton to psychology classes on addiction and it's many
components. He has an amazing ability to captivate his audience and
delivers the message well.  Billy has special education in
Methamphetamine/Stimulant abuse treatment and Medical Alcohol/Drug
Detoxification.  Billy resides in Lake Forest with his two beautiful
Pitbulls (his girls).
